I’m Growing Accustomed to The Space
Good Morning DearHearts,
If you have been reading my blogs for the past year; you are quite aware about my move to condominium life. I have been asked frequently by the attendees at my ACIM groups and others if I’m used to my new space. I thought I would write about this to both answer the inquiries and gain some clarity for me.
So, with great apologies to Lerner and Loewe – I offer
I’m growing accustom to this space
It’s where my day begins
I’m growing accustom to the sounds from upstairs and down
The thumps and bangs
The crashes and clangs
Are becoming second nature to me now
I’m breathing in and breathing out
I was serenely independent with my butterflies and lawn
Until my mind started to tell me
This is not where I belong
So now I find the condo life has given me more time
To write and blog and cook and bake
These passions, they are mine
They are second nature to me now
I’m breathing out and breathing in
I’m very grateful for the people that have come to say hello
Though sometimes unexpected
It’s Divine Order, I know
For me to be in Palm Aire
And live closer to my ‘hood
I have more opportunity to offer miracles and good
Through my years of practicing A Course in Miracles I have experienced the synchronicity of being in the perfect place to meet exactly who I am meant to meet. My belief is I was guided to move from the house I lived in for 17 years into a space that would shift my focus and encourage me to embrace a new chapter in this life experience.
It is always good to remember that to encourage means to stay in one’s heart.
“Each day, each hour and minute, even each second, you are deciding between the crucifixion and the resurrection; between the ego and the Holy Spirit.”- ACIM- T C14/III 4:1
There are few things as challenging to our belief systems as change. Change brings up the unknown and for many that is synonymous with fear. Perhaps this is the reason why so many start the Workbook Lessons but do not complete all 365.
ACIM gives us a reinterpretation from the Bible, instead of “Many are called but few are chosen.” The Voice (not the tv show) instructs, “All are called but few choose to listen.” ACIM T C3/IV7:12
In the light of the wonderful changes I am experiencing because of my move, I do believe I was “called” to Palm Aire.
There remain adjustments to embrace, but knowing there IS a plan certainly eases the path.
Just one quick reminder- I’m having my first 2018 Workshop on January 15th about Self Love. There are only a few spots available, if you are interested in participating, please contact me before Wednesday the 10th.

Beautifully written. One of the most thoughtful and eloquently worded pieces about the acceptance of change I’ve ever read. Precisely what I needed to read today myself thank you. I did read it to the rhythm of the song, cute.
Beautiful!
